The arrival

Now that Megan's in town I have another person to bounce story ideas off of. Her arrival is good for a couple reasons.

1. She loves to be honest with me and tell me when I'm being stupid or my ideas are. She's probably like this because I like to tell her when her ideas are bad and how I'm better than she is (only because I am).

2. She's been a good friend since freshman year of college and if someone can tolerate me for that long (given that's when I really stepped up my smartass game) they're doing something right. During the tenure of our friendship she's actually gotten to know me quite well despite my better efforts to remain emotionally closed off. She generally has an idea what's going on in my head or what I'm trying to convey in my stories.

3. Bridget tends to think she's too cool for me since she was in a sorority at Western. I get the feeling that she doesn't like to be seen with me in public which is odd cause I'm rather handsome. I just have a tendency to not filter the comments coming out of my mouth.

4. Mostly, Megan's a good friend who helps give me perspective. She also does an ok job standing in for my sisters telling me when I'm doing something really stupid. Going with that theme I also enjoy telling her the stupid things I do and watching her roll her eyes in disbelief.
